During Second Steps time we saw a picture
on his first day of school.  The class did an excellent job of
 looking at the picture and decided what emotions the boys might be
feeling..... scared, afraid, sad, nervous...
all great thoughts

We then talked about things we can do when we feel
this way and also how we can help a friend
who might be feeling this way

We reviewed what God made on Day 1 & 2

we are going to make banners to put on our
windows of the 7 days of
creation

Earthquake Drill:
we practiced for the earthquake drill

we talked about what an earthquake
is and how at school we can stay save at
school

outside time

now time for the real drill..
kids were a little more prepared to get
under the tables the 2nd time around
