PARTY DAY
Today was a very WACKY DAY!!!
Today was a very WACKY DAY!!!
We did many things OUT
OF ORDER....
Kids handled it great
just a few questions of when will we do...
whatever it was they are used to doing at that time
or in a certain order
Morning Work
was the same....
Today I asked everyone
to make a party
BRACELET...
I got out 4
of each 4 different colors
yellow
white
red
green
perfect way to divided
into our PARTY GROUPS
6th grade wrote their
own books
and came and read to us...
so sweet
Then we had about 5 more mins of
morning work
until needing to leave for chapel...
Today's helpers
Mrs Fish led
our chapel today
She talked to us about JOY
and what brings us JOY!
She asked us to hold up 1-5 fingers(A JOY METER) for
how much JOY
the picture she held up brought us...
LIKE HOT CHOCOLATE
SNOW
FURRY ANIMALS
BABY JESUS
Of course we said BABY JESUS brought us lots
of joy. Mrs Fish said LOTS of things can bring us
joy, like furry animals and hot chocolate
BUT the joy doesn't last----isn't forever
BUT the JOY in Jesus is
FOREVER!!!
Simon was our offering helper
After chapel we did
Morning Meeting
(definitely made our day feel WACKY)
Audrey got to take care
of Little Puppy
Jacob was attendance helper

THEN We did a short
center time...
When parents/grandparents
started arriving
We cleaned up...
Levi was our

Then we went to the blacktop
to run around
while our
party was being set up
Then we came back and
sat on the brown carpet...
Charlie was weather helper...
Audrey was prayer leader
Kennedy was snack manager

Charlie's grandma
gave us each a candy cane
and special bookmark
and told us a story of the
candy cane
while we ate snack
One Station
Happy Birthday Jesus
birthday party games
A ring toss and
find hidden items in the colored rice
Making baby Jesus
cupcakes
Making ornaments
Pin the nose on the
snowman
SO MUCH FUN!!!
Sprinkles, cupcake liners
spoons, birthday candles
A few extra minutes to play
Tricky Elf, Tricky Elf
Who is on the Shelf....
(or in the box... but it doesn't rhyme
so a group effort to think of
shelfπππ)
Kids were happy with it..
they just love to rhyme!!
The class hid their eyes
and then we tapped one friend
on the shoulder and they
quietly got up ad
hid in the box(AKA Shelf)
Then friends had to say the rhyme and
guess who was hiding
we only got to 3 people...
But I assured the children we can play
Thursday and Friday
so everyone can have a turn...
Samuel was the line leader
and chose
To Your Cars, Mars for
our goodbye rhyme
