excited to have a turn

Devotion Helper

we sang
Light One Candle
as Abidaan turned on the candles
2 candles this week

We learned something new
in today's devotion...
The name Bethlehem...
means HOUSE OF BREAD

Zippy came today

Zippy was a little sleeping today because
he didn't sleep well last night. Zippy is afraid of
the dark and worried about spiders...

We reminded Zippy that he is never
really alone--that God is always with him
even in the dark. And God can do anything
and even can light up a dark night...

Like in today's bible story

God put angels in the sky on the night
Jesus was born! It made the dark night
very BRIGHT!!

I then read from the bible about
the night Jesus was born
and how the Shepherds ran
to see Jesus and shared the Good News to
all those they saw!!

today's helpers

curves! We will learn the letters made with
curves and lines)

The clues:
Zoo
Zipper
Zebra
2 little lines
1 big line

Everyone knew it was Z...

But using the lines
is challenging
to make it without looking at something

several friends
wanted to help...

We thought of just a
few Z words today....

CENTER TIME

Present wrapping...
such great practice, great fine motor
skills as well as problem solving
(how big to cut the paper, how much tape,
how to get whole box covered, etc..)

Huge thank you to Simon's family
for the donation of wrapping
paper---they loved it)

After a present was wrapped it
went under the tree!

These boys were excited to get
to the block area

Sensory Table

LOTS of wrappers.....

Prayer Request

after prayer if we have time.....
the class has started wanting to
show me their own yoga poses....
Just about everyone had
something to show me...
Since we didn't have time to do everyone individually..
I suggested they all show me at
once and I would be sure to look at what
everyone is doing
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜€
PLUS I GOT PICTURES!!

Calvin got to chose the
goodbye rhyme...
Give me a kiss, fish!
