and decided he was angry

we talked about why

he is angry and how

he could calm his body

Then the children thought of

ways they can calm themselves

or what they do when they are angry

at home as well as school...

She talked about waiting...

we have to wait for things everyday...

she brought in a bowl and spoon and asked what she might use these items--

children said  MAKING COOKIES...

YES--we have to prepare the cookie dough then wait for cookies to bake before enjoying them

Then she put some items in a backpack--clothes, hairbrush, toothbrush

she asked the children what she was doing

and someone said packing for a trip--

YES--first we prepare for the trip

then we have to wait until it is time

waiting is hard---

God's people have been waiting a long time for

a SAVIOR!

Advent is all about

PREPARING for our SAVIOR

and waiting to celebrate HIM

on Christmas Day!!!
