Foster asked Charleigh if
she could write his name
He told her the letters
and would write the letter
if she wasn't sure(like S)
LOTS Of friends using the
ABC games
COLORING
A NEW GAME
to develop fine motor strength...
colored chips we called coins
and a small slit in the lid
of this container....
The lid has colored slits and
I encouraged the children to
match the colored coins to the
colored slits...
something so simple
BUT everyone wanted to do it!

The class gets so excited for Zippy
Zippy came to school with
his pom-pom to cheer
on the Blues!! He was so excited
to use his pom pom but said he
would be sad when the game
was over and he didn't have anyone to cheer for!!
But we told Zippy that he didn't need to
be sad---he could cheer
(OR PRAISE) Jesus everyday!!
which made us think about a story
from the bible when LOTS of people cheered

WE DID GREAT THINKING OF J WORDS...
It was confusing though and some friends kept thing of G words
I told them the English Language can be tricky---some letters make the same sounds
and you just have to memorize which one is which....
One friend said: There is no way I could ever memorize all that!!
CENTER TIME
Space and learning about the moon
was one of the ideas on
our brainstorm list of what we want to
learn about next....
SO I got out our
Imagenext SPACE STATION
with a SPACE SHUTTLE
VERY popular
Samuel wanted to play this
game from morning work...
(to make one at home just need any empty container--
with a plastic lid --this one is from oatmeal
colorful plastic chips/coins(from dollar tree)
and thats it. I just cut small slits in the plastic
lid and color coded it. A few friends from last week
colored this paper for the outside--- I just told them it
was for a game and that they needed to use
as many colors as htey could...
SO many friends wanted to use the
SPACE CENTER:
Imaginext SPACE stuff
Ellie and Jacob discovered each other last Weds
and really like playing with each other
Abidaan excited to put this
BIG floor puzzle together
Charleigh and Mack

Most of these friends stayed at the
SPACE Center
SPACE TOYS the entire Center time
If you have never invested in Imaginext
toys--they are totally worth it!!
My kids always loved them
and I am excited to share them
with our class now!!
