Morning Work

Foster started with this rainbow
game....

Kennedy started with
play doh

To play this game you
have plastic counting coins
of different colors and you match it to the
color on the lid and slide it
through the small slit...
This is great for building strength
in their fingers....

The children LOVE this puzzle
It has many different types of latches
and hooks to problem solve how to
open it and see what is behind the door.....

Winston joined Foster with the
rainbow game

Otto chose to color first

At the beginning of each month when we get NEW
play doh we like to mix and blend
the old  play doh together...

The children LOVE this

Lucas trying this puzzle

Winston spelling words...
He would put a bunch of
letters together and ask me what it spelled

sometimes it didn't spell a word
other times it was
ZOE or ZOO

Our Helper for today....

When we walked outside
we saw this goose walking across
the parking lot...
it was really taking its time..
the children were
FASCINATED

OUTSIDE TIME

We found Roly Polies...
we looked up a little information
to make sure we
can't hurt them,
as many friends wanted to hold them...
Google said
completely safe to hold..which I knew it was safe for us
but I didn't know if we could hurt them..
I told the kids if
the Roly Poly was crawling around in your
hand that was fine, but if it rolls up in a ball to
put it down to give it a break...
I mostly was just worried someone would squeeze it a little too
hard when it is rolled up....
In general though I think it is
pretty difficult to hurt a roly poly

This one LOVED Mack
and she loved having it crawl
 ALL over her

Hard to see in this picture but the GOOSE flew up to the roof
of the building next to our parking lot....
It stayed there a long time!!!

OUR WHOLE OUTSIDE TIME
THEN IT FLEW AWAY

Charlotte was our
