HAPPY MONDAY


Morning Work

Marshmallows and toothpick
with buttons...
FUN making different creations



A counting game....
Each turkey has a number on it and then the children
add that many feathers...

great for fine motor as
well because the feathers are on
clothes pins

What a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!!





LOTS of leaves under the pavilion....

The children used the brooms and
wheel barrows to collect the leaves


They were wishing for 
a LEAF BLOWER....
HA!!!!  I am sure that would make the
work easier.......



Mud Kitchen

Luke was climbing these tires
gradual moving to the BIGGER
one!!!

He wasn't sure at first....
I reassured him I would stand
right by him!!!
He climbed right up!!


He was so proud of himself
He ran over and got Ben

Then Ben wanted to try it....


Jacob wanted to try.......

Then felt brave enough to STAND!!!


WOW!!!  It is amazing how just something
like climbing BOOST the children's
confidence......


Then Luke thought.... maybe I can 
stand too!!!

Way to go with
trying hard things

Austin and Lincoln got creative because we could not
find the dust pan...
they turned a bucket on its side and
swept the leaves right into it!!


Great problem solving!!!



Cecilia was our
Librarian today!!!

She chose this great book that 
she also wants to 
donate to us!!

I put scissors on the table
so the children can learn to open
the packages themselves......

They LOVE the feeling of
independence!!

stuff ----they moved it over to the
book area.......

Rowen enjoyed the airplane



Mrs Koenen worked with small groups
on emotions....


And I had a small group and we looked up ideas
to make our own vehicle......


Then we drew what
we would like to create PLUS
the children told me what
they wanted to make their
vehicle and I wrote down what they said








The children who were not working with
Mrs Koenen or I
were playing in centers....
