A SHAPE BOARD GAME

Board games are GREAT

for Preschoolers!!!

Learning turn taking and

disappointment are so important at

this age!!!!

The Object:

Identifying Shapes

and counting

each player gets to draw a card

when it is their turn. They identify the shape 

on the card and if they can identify it, they get to 

roll the die and then move their piece.

The players are trying to get to

the end first.

THEN we reviewed the whole

EASTER STORY with the 

resurrection eggs!!

We passed around each egg

and everyone got to touch

what was inside each one

I showed the children something

new I order for us

from SCHOLASTIC BOOKS

A MAGNETIC MARBLE RACE

Lots of excitement to use

this during center time

BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE TODAY!!!

We have something new.......

CATERPILLARS!!!!!!

we briefly learned a few facts:

-caterpillars become butterflies

- caterpillars turn into a liquid/soupy substance before

becoming a butterfly

- caterpillars build a chrysalis to protect themselves

- cocoons and chrysalis are different

-caterpillars that become MOTHS build cocoons

-caterpillars that become BUTTERFLIES build Chrysalis
