HAPPY MONDAY
NEW MORNING WORK FOR THE WEEK!!
Constructing structures
from blocks and "cement" (AKA play doh)
follow the cards or create your own
Ellie's family is letting
us borrow
these boards with screws that need
a phillips head screwdriver
and one that needs a wrench...
Also gave us construction vehicles
for the play doh 💚😊
Playing a new board game...
Have to make your way to the
construction site....
Turkey Roll and Cover
MORNING MEETING
Audrey's turn with Little Puppy
JJ was attendance helper
EVERYONE came to school today!!!
JESUS TIME
Ellie volunteered to be
our invocation leader
I told the children I was going to
teach them a new word
TABERNACLE...
1st I asked if anyone new what that
word meant..
Then I gave clues by describing it..
A special place
different colors
and other things to make it look special
place to learn about God
A friend answered then and said
God's House.. like a church!!
YES!! It was a church
back in Moses' day
Here is a picture of what one
might have looked like

3 big lines....
we had several
volunteers to make our letter...
it is tricky with the lines
and not having anything to look at...
some friends were SO close!!!
Teamwork!!!
We got a great
start on N words...
CENTER TIME...
Time to set up our town
I told the children they could move
only their own structures
BUT
they can put it in the town
wherever they want......
we laid roads down....
I also got out a huge wooden
dollhouse out----friends were interested in...
Samuel hanging our
TOWN SIGN
WELCOME TO
STITCHY
STITCHY
Pop. 24
Samuel needed more tape so
Camden got more for him
Then Samuel decided we needed
sidewalks....
lots of cutting and adding sidewalks
making roads signs
We were BUSY!!
Also we experimented
with a (table top)wrecking ball....
we built a structure with
blocks and tested our
wrecking ball...
the first "ball" we had was
a little too small
we added a bigger "ball"
but our doll rod wouldn't stay
in place........
so we added "cement" (play doh)
that helped....
the children are learning
so much about cause and effect...
How tall should my structure be..
is my ball big enough to knock it over
was our "wrecking ball' structure sturdy enough??
Samuel wanted to see what
would happen if he added 2 wrecking balls
then he said he wanted to make a
catapult...
Lyla was
