We are learning

about Ascension:

Jesus goes to Heaven

which lead to a discussion on

where is Heaven?

outer space

out of this galaxy

out of this world

this was a few of the ideas the children had

I just said the one thing I know for sure

is that Jesus promises to come back someday

and we know Jesus always keeps His promises

We also talked about how our bible story said

before Jesus ascended

He told his disciples to go on to Jerusalem

where the HOLY SPIRIT will come and find you

The children seem to remember how we have

talked about 

God the Father

God the Son

God the Holy Spirit

next week we are going to learn more about

God, the Holy Spirit

oops I forgot to flip this

before putting it on the blog

but we read an informational book

about butterflies

Then we did small group work

3 groups of 5

1 group worked outside in the pineyard

1 group work on Father's day surprises

1 group got to do centers

about 10 mins each

then we switched until

each group got to do each

activity       

Then after everyone finished each

small group activity we had about 6 mins until

clean up SO friends got to do centers with

the whole group!
