2 friends did NOT come to school

14 friends DID come to school

Matthew was our invocation leader

I love that a few friends

knew what the story

was going to be about by looking at the picture

One remembered from last year 

and 2 told me they knew from Sunday School

We learned about Moses

as a baby

Wyatt was our Yoga Instructor

using our attent-a-scopes

we looked at the 

picture from yesterday

we let our friends who weren't here

yesterday know about how

we thought this boy was feeling

and why

we then took turns role playing

(acting out) this situation 

One child got to be the builder

another child accidentally knocks over

the building

then the 2 children work it out together

we talked about how it is OK to be

angry...everyone gets angry

we got to show our angry faces

The child who was pretending to be

angry...practiced BELLY BREATHES

Put you hand on your belly

and breath in through your nose

and blow out your mouth

blowing out all the angry feelings

Then the child who accidentally

knocked it over...apologizes and

asked, "what can I do to make you feel better?"

these boys decided a hug

would make it all better

A few friends didn't

have their Fall Tree Observation

completed SO they got to do it

today...and YAY!!! The leaves had changed colors

learn how to hold them

bell we are holding
