Morning Work

This kiddos love to bake....
so I moved the play doh to a bigger
table so the children have more room
to bake!

Sorting and counting

Arranging the Nativity is
a great way for
preschools to retell a familiar story

Colbie wanted me to get a picture
of the way she arranged the
nativity

Evie wanted to show
me a picture she made of her and Nora

Introducing something new
A Kindness Chart

More to come further in this
post!!!

Our friends came to practice singing

Lot so of running in the commons

And if lots of children are running

and using scooters

And having lots of FUN....

Then.... you might need to rest

Playing can be hard work!

Our Kindness Chart says
Spread Kindness like Confetti

We have been learning all year about being
Called to Care
and
so to continue to reinforces this
I introduced this chart........
God wants us to be kind to one another...
and if we are kind to one another....then kindness spreads and more people
are kind to one another......
The children were so engaged and excited...
many great ideas were said on ways to
be kind...
then...

everyone started giving hugs to each other
💜

So I told the children when they do
acts of kindness they can add
their name to our chart..
I think we will need more
than one piece of paper for our kindness
chart

My main goal.... is to reinforce kindness.......
this class is already so kind and absolutely
loves being Called To Care
So I thought they would really
enjoy this simple act of
writing their name on a chart...
And LOTS of name writing happened today
which was my second goal!!!

The class had gathered on the carpet
for Advent Devotion and I forgot
my music across the room
The class loves to be SO quiet
that I think they left the room if I ever have
to get up for something
(our little class joke🤣🤣)
they were SO quiet and still... I wanted
to get a picture of it

Advent Devotion

Center Time!

Throughout Center Time
Many acts of kindness occurred
I tried to get pictures of everyone
but I know I missed some...
But check it out the next time
you drop your child off...

Eddie adding his name to our kindness
chart!

Colbie was very proud of her work

Brody... doing his favorite job
exercise leader

Right now push ups are a favorite
I think they have been chosen all week!
Brody wanted everyone to do 99....but I thought maybe
 9 would be better

We were so busy during center time...
we were very short on prayer time

So I started with a brief prayer and
then gave a moment of silence for everyone
to pray in their heads.....
we have practiced this before.....
they did SUCH a great
job!!!!
One of my most absolute favorite
thing to witness!!!
Hands folded, heads bowed, eyes closed
and everyone was SO quiet!!
💚💙💜🧡

Tried to get a picture of all the names
but we even had more as we were
walking out because one friend
forgot her backpack and
another friend noticed and got it for her!
very kind!!!
